It has been
a while…
It’s been
weeks since I last updated this blog. Too occupied with work and other stuff I
just didn’t have time to sit down a write anything. Though I have a couple of
topics I wanted to share but I just couldn’t get my feet under the desk for
that just yet. I have also not been consistent with my daily book reading
routine. I am currently nowhere the middle of the book so I am pretty sure I
won’t come up with the book review anytime soon.
I have been
extremely busy with work lately. I found it is now a norm for me to stay back
at the office till eight or nine at night, and yes, the working on weekends –
run, it is still going on. But it is not all bad. I did manage to squeeze in
some time to take a breather and just spend those time to mainly, sleep, spend
time with the family and friends. But mostly, sleep.

I am going
to be busy until middle of March and unfortunately, the peak of my hectic
schedule will be in June – that’s right, during Ramadhan. But, no excuses of
course. It just means I have to stay healthy, eat right, conserve my energy and
have that extra push to get through all of these projects during the holy
month. I certainly do not want the thing that happened to me during last
Ramadhan where I got so stressed out and ill that I almost couldn’t continue
fasting.
I must say,
I am really looking forward to Eid this year. I will be taking a week off
during Raya. Believe it or not, until today, I had only taken a day off of my
annual leave. I have been saving up on my annual leave days for post June,
where I won’t be attached to all these projects. So that week off of Eid break,
will be my time to really enjoy, relax and won’t at all read through my emails
– I hope so :P
So, that’s
it. A short rant on work and what to be expected in the next coming weeks. It’s
going to be a tough couple of months ahead but need to stay motivated and
hopefully, all the projects will be a success! July, please come faster!
